Hi, I'm Will
,
I am a writer and poet living in the Metro Detroit area. The main focus of my writing has been speculative flash fiction with the occasional poem littered about. I imagine this trend will continue although I am constantly toying with the idea of writing longer works. I also engage in a near constant debate with my self over the merits of genre fiction vs. whatever the hell you want to call the modern speculative movement that defies the traditional Sci-Fi / Horror / Fantasy labels.
I am a contributing editor for Enchanted Conversation: A Fairy Tale Magazine. I have one or two articles a month dealing with mythology or folklore. Amanda and rest of crew at Enchanted Conversation have a strong magazine taking shape. We feature flash stories, articles, art, comics, and anything else we can cram into it.

I also had the privilege of being a submissions reader for Empyreome Magazine. I am honored to be a part of such an ambitious project. To date I have reviewed over 150 stories (something like 275,000 words). I can truly tell you that Randy (Editor-in-Chief) has put together a fantastic team to bring this magazine to life. If speculative fiction is your thing, either as a writer or a reader, check it out through the link below.

Additionally, I do some SEO writing here and there. If you're interested in getting someone to do that sort of thing, I have samples available.
Thanks for stopping by, but I think you're probably here while avoiding your current writing project. Stop it. Go write something. Go read something. And please support the zines and small publishers of the world. Putting together places that display the works of writers is not easy and they appreciate support, donations, and encouragement more than most people realize.
